The image is an aerial photograph of the former Hellingly Hospital (East Sussex County Asylum) near Hailsham, England.
The hospital was built at the turn of the twentieth century to address overcrowding at the Haywards Health Asylum.
It was built on a plot of about 400 acres and opened in 1903.
The hospital was designed on a "compact arrow plan".
It closed in 1994, and most of the buildings were demolished between 2010 and 2013.
