This is a historical photograph of the former Hailsham Railway Station in Sussex, England, taken on April 9, 1964.

The station was part of the "Cuckoo Line" that ran between Polegate and Hellingly.
It originally opened in 1849.

The station closed to passenger traffic shortly after this photo was taken, as part of the Beeching cuts, on June 14, 1965.

The site of the former station now houses a builders' merchant.
